Shipping Terms

We use multiple shipping providers to ensure the fastest delivery to your door within 47 contiguous states. (California exception, see below.)

Ground shipping within the contiguous states is a flat $10 for all orders below $200. Shipping is free for orders $200+.

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days (remember weekend days are not counted in business days) and anticipate arrival to your door within 6-10 business days.

Expedited service may be available at an additional cost. Please contact us at 541.550.7676 to inquire about availability and actual charges. 

A shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships. Please contact us at hello@redplatefoods.com if you do not receive a tracking number within 3 business days of placing your order.

California Residents

Due to risk associated with California Proposition 65 bounty hunter claims, we have chosen to avoid shipping to all California addresses. While we support the intent of consumer safety behind Prop 65, our small family business has experienced a false claim and cannot afford to defend against such claims. The starting cost of litigation begins at approximately $600,000 USD per the advice of an attorney specializing in Prop 65 bounty hunter claims, even when independent labs verify products test within safe limits.

If you are a California resident, please do not be upset at Red Plate Foods for avoiding this business nuisance that could potentially bankrupt our business. Contact your California state representative (https://www.assembly.ca.gov/assemblymembers/find-my-rep) to advocate for Proposition 65 reform, requesting capping attorney fees so that ligitation is no longer driven by profit motives. You may also provide feedback on particular implementation of Prop 65 to P65Public.Comments@oehha.ca.gov.
